Cow with Calf
Young calves rely on their mother's milk to provide them with valuable nutrients. Calves generally stay with their mothers for about seven months until they are weaned (meaning they can eat regular feed and no longer need milk). At this time, a calf will weigh about 250 to 300 kg. These types of farms are called cow/calf farms.
