Cattle need many of the same things that humans and pets do - including a balanced diet, clean water and a healthy environment. Barns, like this one, are common on Ontario's 18,000 cow/calf farms. Calves are typically born in these barns in the winter time and then spend the summer months out on pasture with their mother cows.
